Artist's Comments

Four corsets I had for sale at the recent Louisville Goth Clothing Swap. There was another, a green satin, but it sold before I could take photos. Obviously, there are only two designs, done in a couple different styles each. I'm hoping to premier the remaining pieces in the lines this Fall. Wish me luck.
The corsets themselves are not tightlacing style; they're done with plastic boning, and either a zipped front or no front entrance. This was mostly due to finances (I couldn't afford steel and busks). There are two layers of fabric (again, finances) which are bound at the top and bottom with either satin or cotton bias tape, depending on the style.

They're all gorgeous!! I especially like the white one. It reminds me of fencing wear.

:) Where did you get the fabric from?

the camo is taken from old military uniforms, the skulls came from hancock fabrics halloween selection, the purple satin is actually left over from a halloween costume my mom made me when i was really little, and the silver was clearance at hancock (i havent seen any since).
